What matters is the frequency of write-offs due to bad debts and how big they will be in the future. It's unlikely we will see another problem this big for many years. Hence it shouldn't be used to frighten the horses. Should be kept in perspective. The CEO could have acted rashly in allowing TC that line of credit but maybe he was locked in.
