Yeah ISD was a no brainer in the low 20c. You could be right to hold off on webjet. As I said it’s all about a valuation I have for a stock and when it’s under by a good percentage I start buying. It might sound strange but I’m very happy for webjet to keep falling at the moment. When a good company has something bad happen to it (that really is a one off), was overpriced in the first place, global uncertainty and finally the last few sellers getting out it just gets smashed to a level that is fantastic for buying.
Don’t underestimate the overvalued component in the first place as the start of the downtrend. When it started to have profit takers selling it started downwards momentum. Then it got hit with TC. Then global fears and trade war started. Finally people well under are getting out. ASX is a momentum business these days. A lot of people now days look past the quality of the business and just look at market movements. I’ll be under on webjet for a good 6 months to maybe a year (maybe - who knows with momentum) but it doesn’t matter in the long run. TC, brexit, trade war etc will be long gone in future and all that will be left is an outstanding growth company that was at a good price.
