It was actually an article from The Wall Street Journal, so KAR is getting broader coverage these days which is great. Enter Karoon Gas into Google & look under news & you'll find it for those having difficulty accessing it.
Maybe, just maybe, this current GFC MkII is exactly what the Dudd Government need as an excuse to dump their stupid Resource Super Profit Grab without loosing face. Given they've backed themselves into a corner by ruling out retrospectivity & 40% rate as non-negotiable, this would be an ideal way of backing down without 'being seen' to back down. They could call their move a stimulus program.
Well at least we don't have to worry about an interest rate hike anytime soon & can probably look forward to an easing instead. I guess every cloud has a silver kining.
