Yes that is what I meant. Since coles sells staple goods people will continue to buy them even if the prices were to increase and probably wouldn't really notice an increase of <10%. I guess it would depend on if the other supermarkets also raise prices, or it could end up being that the supermarkets take on the rising input costs for as long as possible in order to be the last ones to raise prices, idk. Either way it is easier for them to raise prices than sellers of non-essential items.
