1.IMO, the big fall in YAL SP (yesterday & today) was because it decided to pay NO dividend at all- where the market expected a large dividend. It is promoted as a big dividend stock.- which Retail investors particularly covet, & would fret over the cancellation of the div.
Are you saying all Top 100 ASX stocks have this pattern of Bot sales?
Are some people selling WHC because they fear that WHC, also, might decide not to pay any dividend at all ( I assume most were expecting a dividend of c.10C +). If WHC does pay a dividend, IMO there will be a "relief rally" back into WHC, & its SP should have a good rise.
