Sure, people are pushing their own positions but:

- there isn't a shortage of supply of lithium, it's abundant. The lithium demand outlook has weakened considerably, and lithium batteries are exposed to being bypassed by other technologies. Which is why lithium stocks are bleeding
- uranium is "potentially" short depending on longer-term solutions to global warming. But again the demand picture is unclear, as an example regardless of rights or wrongs, I can't see nuclear being seriously contemplated in Australia.
- copper fundamentals look great. But good luck pointing me to a high-quality standalone copper company to invest in - they are all long gone.

People need steel and energy today. They will need them tomorrow.
