I guess there are two ways to look at it.
Short sellers are future buyers. The more short, the more that have to buy back. It certainly appears that the market is expecting a disappointment on both production and costs. That's how I was thinking about it anyway.
I wasn't prepared to take a punt going in to this report at $9, $8 or even mid 7s. But at mid to low 6's I think there is enough upside if we get a small beat. I don't think it will take much for the market to get excited based on the sell off in to this report.
All eyes on the cash gen number and guidance.
