Im quite surpirsed to see how low the thermal coal price decks are across the street. For example, GS has 85u/s as the short to long term average price for thermal.
Bell Potter has a bearish view too:
Macquarie fairly bleak across met and thermal
Feels a bit like Iron ore which is supposed to trade at 65 - 75 long term according to the street. Never seems to get below 90 for too long.
Thermal trading at an average of 135 to 155 for a while now.
WHC should do 1.7 to 2.0bil of EBITA this year. $5.3bil market cap.
Pretty hard to find this anywere else in a market where expectations are far too high for the consumer recovery.
