Interesting. What I heard is that the mine doesn't produce what it was forecast to. Apparently the raw exploration data is so completely messed up that the entire mine is broken. The chpp was designed around bad data and has had difficulty hitting target. Garbage in, garbage out. I heard a rumour that the people doing the exploration 20-30 years ago were more interested in having drunken orgies in the bush than actual exploration... because... "by the time this ever gets mined, we'll be retired and long gone, so no one will ever know what we are really doing out here"... one excellent reason to not hire woke folk and focus on hiring married family men whose wives stay at home to raise children.
