    1. China has, on 9.12.24, made its biggest change (since 2010) in loosening monetary policy settings, to boost its economy.

    Reuters 9.12.24 K.Yao said
" China will adopt an "appropriately loose" monetary policy next year, the first easing of its stance in some 14 years, alongside a more proactive fiscal policy to spur economic growth, the Politburo was quoted as saying on Monday.
China will step up "unconventional" counter-cyclical adjustments, focusing on expanding domestic demand and boosting consumption, state media Xinhua reported, citing a readout of a meeting of top Communist Party officials, the Politburo...

"We think it points to strong fiscal stimulus, big rate cut and asset buying in 2025," said Xing Zhaopeng, ANZ's senior China strategist.".

China vows to ramp up policy stimulus to spur growth in 2025 | Reuters

This CCP monetary & fiscal liberalisation will likely cause, some time in 2025, a rise in commodity & energy prices- & thus eventually benefit WHC.

    2. Elon Musk, EV maker behemoth, was, until c. 2020, was fiercely anti-fossil fuels. Remarkably for a doyen of the benefits of switching to EV's, he now proclaims the CO2 crisis is a long term problem; & that the risks of imminent climate chaos are being exaggerated.

With the continuing COP "setbacks" in the last 2 years, & Trump's re-election last month etc., there seems to be, IMO, significant backpeddling amongst many major nations, & powerful individuals, on the need for a rapid reduction in CO2 levels.

I recommend all read the below link in full, that sets out all the reasons for Musk's amazing policy transformation.

Elon Musk "once wanted a “popular uprising” against fossil fuels, but as he has aligned himself with the political right, his views on the climate crisis have changed as well...

His change could help boost measures in the [USA] nation’s capital against clean energy and possibly even against electric cars...

...he [Musk] said, “We don’t need to rush” to solve the climate issue. He also said that efforts to address climate change should take place without “demonizing people” and that “It’s not like the house is on fire immediately.”

While those close to Musk toldThe Postthat he still thinks the climate crisis is a problem, he now believes that the risks of climate disasters have been overblown...

More recently, he’s [Musk] grown fond of technological solutions to the climate crisis, including nuclear power and carbon capture...".
