The PLV price dipped to US$145p/t through 2h 2019, and was US$100 during FY21 - PCI was below US$100... Queensland royalties on coal sales below A$175p/t (US$117) didn't change in 2022, so there's little economic effect at lower prices like the Blackwater/Daunia deal floor of US$134p/t.

A potential pipeline from Qatar or Saudi Arabia most likely has no impact on a current WHC investment timeline. How many years would it take to plan, approve, and build a pipeline from Qatar/Saudi Arabia across Syria to Germany? Would it be vulnerable to attack, like Nord Stream that lies in the sleepy & peaceful Baltic Sea? Does the Ukraine war end with a peace deal signed, while the gas pipelines from Russia remain dormant, causing German industrial output to continue to shrink back to output levels of 20 years ago? It would only be Europe losing in that situation.

Pushed this negative view earlier in the year and coal stocks have all disappointed, contrary to the still prevailing ebullient investor sentiment.

You were a pumper of the Blackwater/Daunia deal, and perhaps are still defending that initial view, but surely some of the facts have since changed?
