US coal stocks were up between 2% - 7% last night. That's about it. It's got nothing to do with the polar vortex. WHC up 6%, but NHC and YAL only up about 2%. I'm guessing its because YAL and NHC haven't fallen as much as WHC and so a little catch up is expected. If I were a holder, I'd be wanting to see a reversal of the downward trend before I got too excited. One green day makes a rally not. December quarterly out shortly and I'm leaning towards a disappointing quarter based off realised prices. That being said, there certainly is a floor in WHC share price. Where is it? Who knows? Maybe $5 would be the absolute bottom. Will it get there? stranger things have happened.
