I have given up trying to predict where the share price will be over the period of the buyback.
What I do know is that if they buy them at $10 rather than $12, we save $500million.
This amounts to a fully franked special dividend of 70c which we would all most likely get in the next 12 months or so.
So, I am very relaxed at the thought of the share price sticking around these levels (or less) for the whole of the buyback period.
