I was in UK and then Europe for weeks until three weeks ago, and I thought it unseasonally warm: depending on the country as I travelled to each and through by train. Typically 15 to 18 degrees during the day and sunny, no rain.

This must help in slowly running down stocks of natural gas that media has said were acceptable for the 2022-23 northern winter. Allegedly unless the Russian sanctions change, it'll be a lot harder to obtain sufficient supplies for the winter in a year's time.
