The error on the average 7 day weather forecast is 7 degrees (3.5 over 3.5 under).

Given this I do think it is a little weird predicting a 1.5 degree change over 50 years.

It is also strange that we have only been measuring temperature accurately for 100 to 200 years. The error on ice core measurements using isotopes is larger than the predicted impact we are having on climate. So the data says we are jumping to conclusions, though it is always best to err on the side of caution.

Do I think humans are impacting the climate? Yes

Do I think the input of CO2 into the atmosphere by humans is having more of an impact than the over 90% molten mass of magma earth is composed of, the ball of hypercritical gas in the sky we call the sun or the fact the earth rotates closer to the sun on different intervals over the 1000s of years (milankovitch cycles) which have previously caused countless ice ages and global warming periods?

No. I think the climate is an incredibly intricate system and it is classic human arrogance to think we have more of an impact than the unfathomable forces that surround us.

Now can we stop talking about this and instead go back to the business we are invested in?
