I don't know the details of this yet to be announced policy but we can be certain that the announcement will be disastrous with all but the NSW Premier on the mainland being Labor, the Federal Labor Government under Trotskyist Albanese, an emboldened Victorian re-elected Labor Government under Daniel Andrews, and mad greenie Matt Kean in NSW failing to be shut down by Liberal Premier Dominic Perrottet in a Coalition Government that faces an election in four months.

The Minerals Council and coal (and gas) companies at every level cannot convince ill-informed Jarryd and Sharon Public that more regulation and/or increased taxes/price caps are bad, so politicians will find it easy to initiate these.

The bureaucracy is dominated by Labor 'maates', so there's a lack of 'frank and fearless advice'.

But like many, I will ride this out in the hope that worldwide demand and continuing great prices may somehow negate Australian governmental stupidity and ignorance.
