Reality check!!! The $1.5 bill the government is " investing " back to the people hardest hit by rising energy costs, is approx the same amount of tax that whc will pay this financial year. Just whc.
I would like to build a house, but the steel, windows concrete, timber, just about everything has quadrupled in price. I wonder if the government can whip the hat around to all the various industries who are charging 4x the price of 2 years ago, to subsidise my new home build? But this is all due to the energy crisis/ war and inevitably coal.
