Any university graduate would need to be taught this lingo, even tradesman going between mine sites need to be inducted into the mine site operations and communication procedures. Every mine site has different methods of communication.

I have worked with many foreign workers and have found them to be exceptional. Not one bad experience in terms of work done or communication in the process. I have had numerous problems with some locals who rarely listen to instruction and speak through their nostrils with a nasal tone that does make communication difficult. It must be the welfare state entitlement running through their heads because some are only waiting for their turn to speak rather than listening to important information (much in line with the mentality of green activists and coal haters). With foreign workers, this is not the case, they are much humbler. This is my experience, for reference, I am born and bred here.
I have found some local workers lack patience with foreigners, especially if they already have a predisposition of looking down upon anyone who looks or talks different to them. But an overwhelmingly positive percentage work together and build friendships without a problem. It just seems to be a select special few that have an issue.
There is a visa program that requires company sponsorship before the visa is granted, I think this ought to be the way to go. WHC, if short on labour, could easily host zoom meetings with foreign workers to check their resume, credentials and acumen in the sector. We really should not be left with a labour shortage in the coal sector. It would be a disaster, since there are rarely enough domestic workers to fill all the vacancies, foreign workers are the saving grace to our economic growth and WHCs growing earnings, with Vickery and Winchester in the works, we will need extra labour.

I see WHC to coal as what FMG is to iron ore. FMG is currently trading at a PE of 7 on prior year earnings and was at a PE of 5 when coal was over $200, but now iron ore price has halved. WHC is trading at a PE of 5 on prior year earnings but looks very likely to double its earnings in the coming FY. If it were to double its earnings and revalue at a PE of 7 on those earnings, we could see a SP of well over $20. This is in line with the first calculation on the thread, coal price is stable which is exactly what we need.
