didicoco, you omitted Filipinos, from a nation only eight hours by air from east coast Australia (or less to Mindanao).
Typically they have a good work ethic, assimilate easily as some would say 'they're more (North) American than USA residents', can be jocular, pretty easy to understand (easier than Indians despite that being counterintuitive) and amiable.
They won't be suitable for every coal mine role but if trained properly in areas like truck mechanics, I suspect they're a big asset to businesses such as WHC. Large numbers of them tend to be good with their hands.
They are family oriented, and rarely arrogant in my experience.
Plus they're one of the largest migrant groups in Australia, with more Filipinos now than Vietnamese living here.
