Demand for fossil fuels for life-saving (literally!) heating is increasing in many parts of the USA, & Northern Hemisphere in this extremely cold winter- a few places at record &/or close to record lows..
Fossil fuel prices rises, with greater demand for fossil fuels, are likely to rise for these commodities. Renewables are generally almost useless in these conditions-when there is too much ice, snow, cloud cover, rain etc. occuring.
