I reckon if the LNP is elected in Queensland - let's hope so, even though as in Victoria it's a Herculean task to rid government of all the enmeshed Labor/Greens senior executives and non-traditional public servants - one of its first acts within 30 days of ebeing elected should be to reverse AP's royalty changes.

To achieve this would be a huge boost for Queenslanders because investment into areas like Mackay and environs would again start to flow, provided the subsector wasn't nervous that if Labor was then elected in another four years that it wouldn't reimpose the clauses. Hence there should be 'grandfathering' arrangements.
