He is being conservative. I am one of those that gets franking credit fully refunded so I am interested in pre-tax also.
I have been looking at this from a different angle.
Market jumped at the end so about $8 Billion Market cap.
So my question is, what is PE market has on it and therefore what is the Coal price to achieve that PE?
So I'm guessing in this woke world that the forward PE of about 5.
So that suggests to me that earnings of $1.6 Billion.
$2.30 Billion before tax.
plus $1.6 Billion operation
Toss in another $400 million for royalties etc
Revenue .about $4.3 Billion
16 million sales
Coal price AUD $268
$180 US.
Weird logic and mistakes abound. But interesting to me. LOL
