Can’t say exactly who is buying 10 years from now, but NHC’s Robert Millner has said that the Japanese utilities “are concerned that it (NEWC) is going to stay well above US$300 for a few years”.

FWIW I agree with @Alejandro1, New Hope is already a diversified energy company, but Whitehaven has their plate full with Narrabri and Maules, and Winchester/Vickery waiting in the wings. In ten years from now WHC will still be a thermal/coking company (with a nice residential property portfolio to boot).
