On October 1st 2021 coal hit a high of 269USD then subsequently fell to sub $150 later that month. On January 12 last year 2022 the coal price had risen to $205 USD. Current spot price of $370USD on a better exchange rate.
The company generated profits from this pricing to pay down 1bill in debt and buyback 10% and pay a small dividend.
Don't know where it's headed but the market has never valued WHC at +400 prices.
Coal price of $250USD or there about just before the war broke out.
Whc did not see the ultra high pricing for months after due to the lag effect, which also works in the opposite direction when prices fall.
I cant see coal price falling below $250 USD as this was the market price prior to the war.
