I suspect the sell down in Adani last week resulted in WHC and other coal producers being sucked down by trend following algo quants shorting anything that resembled a peer. Aus government policy (or lack of) isn't helping WHC neither is a stronger Aussie dollar.
I'm expecting a big rally this week and not afraid to buy hard into any weakness should further dip buying opportunities arise, it's a super cheap value stock surrounded by a couple of moats.
US coal producers all closed strongly on Friday, ARLP up 10% after hours, Peabody up 2.5%, Consol up 2.4%.
