Great comment. A couple of other things to note - domestic coal demand will grow rapidly in Indonesia until at least 2030, removing some volumes from the export market (i.e. Indonesian exports will fall). Colombia's new president has announced that the country will cease exporting fossil fuels by 2030 - crazy, but true. Already, Prodeco mine in Colombia, which normally exports around 15Mtpa, is having trouble getting permission to restart mining.
The supply squeeze is real. More evidence is in the fact that in 2022 we had record seaborne thermal coal prices, but traded volumes globally fell.
