Off the track a little in my area east Gippsland , the red gum trees are dying , young or old , where the ground is a wetter or drier , same , they are dying and quickly last few months , why l ask , the only thing that has changed lately is no smoke in the air , co2 as kid everyday smoke the burn offs etc etc etc etc , co2 is naturally in the air , but the levels now must be so low , the gov charted tell a diff story , how can the levels go up we are not allowed a piece of paper , wood and coal burning are no diff , as we all know co2 is trees only food , are they starving to death . Also years ago the smoke and haze in air would block out the direct sun , but now the sun rays are getting a direct hit on all plant life . It’s a shocking site to see beautiful gums dying . Is this happening in other areas ???????
