Yes it is happening in other areas, many species of trees are stressed. It started here in vic. back around 2000, just as mobile towers were being activated in a big way. The local botanic gardens started having problems with 100+ year old trees, so holes were bored in an effort to get water down to the roots, it was presumed that the minor drought at the time was having an impact, but no thought was given to the fact that microwaves affect the trees on a cellular level. Local native bush was also impacted with largeish areas of trees experiencing browning of the canopy, it was supposedly due to some kind of virus/bacteria spreading through various areas, which may be correct as microwaves apparently stress the trees and lower their immune system which leaves them vulnerable to disease. Also another effect was observed in my area, old apparently dead tree stumps came back to life and started sprouting new green shoots, I'm talking about larger dead trees up to 20 or more metres high.
