This is definitely good news for coal although some reports seem to think the snow that Europe is currently experiencing will be countered by an increase in temperature on the weekend. That said, there are plenty of other factors that seem to be aiding Gas prices in Europe as described in this piece of news from Reuters.

Interesting also to see that European gas storage is now at 57.5% even though it seems to have been at >90% back in November.
