Yes, despite a rare overnight increase in the coal futures, coal stocks are sold off so far today. Well, market has realised with all those Labor Govts and its open policy to destroy the coal sector, punitive legislation and new and increased taxes could be a new threat. Oil stocks (WDS and STO) are likely to be hit a new large tax to be applied in the Federal Labor Budget in early May 2023.
