I agree
when you combine this with the earlier 100million shares bought back, we have now bought back around 17% of the total number of shares on issue when they started.
So, we have bought back approx 170 million shares.
Give we still intend to buy back another 170 million shares, we are halfway there. I know we can all get a bit impatient, but we are steadily, day by day, eating up 340 million shares.
This would be one of the biggest corporate buy-backs in ASX history (where the company intends to continue as a going concern).
Whatever way you look at it our long term dividends will be around 35% higher than they would have been without the buy back.
