At least three factors in the sharp fall today:
(1) heightened concern about possible WHC purchase of BHP coal asset(s);
(2) speculation that the NSW Government will follow Queensland’s lead and decide to tax their way out of budgetary troubles by hiking coal royalties in NSW; and
(3) market manipulation by large funds such as Regal.
