I think the tax implications get lost among some of the posts on these boards.
If share trading is the only thing a person does and is retired/not working, it obviously is a vastly different scenario to those of us that work a lot to make a six figure salary.
Hopefully a bit more to run here so the taxman as well as us all can make a bit.
The gov seems to conveniently forget about the CGT they make through people share trading when they talk about taxing the minerals industry.
