SMSFs are the way to go imho (if you can trust yourself or accept the risk). I’ve got mine setup with not a huge balance. total costs are maybe $1100 a year including ASIC fee for corporation etc.
Not really too bad, and nothing like the old $5-$7k a year it used to cost.
