Most people who get a hard on at the idea of total control of their super are thinking - I can put 100% into XYZ stock and get rich way quicker.
OR
I can turbocharge my super and put it all into crypto because other super funds don't let me.
The majority of people who have discipline and a trading strategy realise just buying good managed funds or ETF's in super and letting it compound over 40 years is the best way to achieve a healthy reitrement. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule, but for every 1 success story there are probably another 9 that are on the age pension.
