They didn't restrict it because it was dangerous. They restricted it because a small percentage of Looney's were potentially buying up all the supply and using it to "treat" COVID, whilst people that needed it to treat parasites didn't have any.
Can you show me some medical studies that show ivermectin was/is useful to use against covid?
