I think most of it is just for a laugh. I mean, we'll know what kind of winter it has been when it is almost over - certainly not before it has even started (1 Dec, or astronomically on 22 Dec).

I am just glad none of the predictions of returning to $US80/t (the other Alex poster), much less dropping below $US100 that was bandied around by a few for most of this year. When costs are around $AU110/t, a cold European winter would be the cherry on a sundae. Regardless, I'll still be eating a sundae.

Also, those doing the most have also been around for yonks and have entries in the $1-$3 range. They hardly need a cold winter to save their investment.
