Funny to read a story a day or two ago citing record hydropower production in China. reducing demand for coal. Can we believe what we read about China?
They have some very big dams, per the cited stats, but they need lots of rain to support the generation of other than peak power.
It pays to check the calcs oneself as journalists and editors are not engineers, more usually just passing on propaganda.
