Alex I think I adequately differentiated ...stating the weather has a short term view and weather also has a long term view ....both being less by far than 100% predictable and indeed short Term predictions on a daily basis often being completely off...while longer term predictions on weather ( climate) no better than looking into a crystal ball.
I trust this will now meet with your terminological requirements...I personally see little difference between Change in the weather and weather change -- or ..short term climate change through a day and long term climate change through years ..by usage we usually refer to climate change as the longer term change in the weather ..but I thought I had made it clear when I said short term weather and longer term weather.
