However, if you compare to the two prior cycles the equities didn't race ahead of the underlying, they simply traded in tandem due to ESG etc. So it's a largely a case of the equities being far less overvalued at the top of this cycle vs the prior two cycles. Hence, less downside contraction towards lower bound historic enterprise value levels of the assets.
