For anyone who might be worrying about the recent price falls in Coking Coal
Remember that the 20% sell down will most likely be used to retire most (if not all) of the $US 1.1bn credit facility. This means that the vendor finance payments (first $500m) is all that is left to pay, the first payment is not due till a year away.
I would bet that the 20% sell down was forecast to alleviate any decreases in met pricing.
if there was no sell down occurring, I might be more inclined to panic. I’ll sit tight and buy a few more shares in the meantime!
