I dont agree with you. If you have company with 2B NPAT that is valuated for 4B for 5 years is it a good thing and you will be happy to be a shareholder if this company (just silly example)? I understand short term undervaluation because of some panic etc...but then it should go where it should be. Don't say WHC is better at $6 SP than $15 SP if it stays at $6 forever and never go back to $15 (where it should be). If SP is not reacting properly to the business condition and earnings - it means run away.
