Personally I keep my coal and gas shares mainly due to timing and less due to value analysis.
As optimistic as some posters are about ability of India and China to ramp up production, use stockpiles, import from Russia at short notice to feed mega economies I am not. Most problems/results in personal life economy etc are about timing and ability to timely act/react. Here is latest timing data:
Top 10 Chinese miners' coal output down 6.2% YoY in Jan-Mar 2024 , produced 550 mil T this quarter.
