I take a large position in a stock as many have seen. If it does not go to the uptrend I follow the trend down. Rarely do I short my entire holding. The holding I don’t sell is kind of a hedge it it goes the other way.
I’m reducing my average in every trade. For quite a number of sessions it has worked for me however even if I have to pay say an extra 5% of the holding I need to buy back to retain my holding, so be it.
Afterall the value of WHC is far more than what it is currently. So what's another 5% more that I pay if it’s worth say $12?
Mind you I have never paid more than an extra 0.5% to keep my original position.
