Another poster brought up FMG, not me. I merely pointed out the cyclicality of the investment vs volatility.
If the poster has mentioned RIO, the point would be the same
albeit with 1 year of negative earnings in 2015 for which I am not going to go into the report and investigate why.
FWIW, an investment in FMG at the same 2011 peak as with WHC, would have produced 500%+ returns when including dividends than WHC, even after FMG losing 40% of its value in the last 6 months. If you were lucky to pick the bottom (like with my WHC example) and bought FMG at $2, then your returns including dividends are about 1500%.
So stop thinking everything is an attack on you.
