as i have said before. if there is any windfall profit on coal, all producers should immediately stop producing and selling all coal. We have $2.5bn in the bank and zero debt.
Its a bit harder with gas (and oil) i believe, because of the nature of the well (happy to be corrected on this). but with coal, just stop digging. tell albo if he wants coal at $120 a tonne he can come dig it up himself.
people crying about gas prices is laughable. Most had the opportunity to secure long term contracts (similar to how people had the opportunity to fix their mortgage rates for 3+ years), but didnt and chose to be subject to spot prices. In business you gotta make your own decisions.
