If I had to guess as to the latest SP weakness;
Shorts, Strong AUD and general market weakness.
FY21 First Half results are due on the 17th of Feb. There is lag between the current spot price of coal and what WHC receives (6 weeks~ iirc). I don't believe this report will reflect the current strength of the coal price.
Important to note as well, whilst it might seem like longer, the coal price has really only been high for 8 weeks now. Pre-election, WHC operations would have been just above break-even.
Just my opinion.
