IMO WHC dividend will not be given in the interim result. Boards need to consider three key issues with dividends -
1. balance sheet strength
2. forward cash flow projections (including capex)
3. the interests of shareholders
As there was much criticism for the (with benefit of hindsights) last big dividend and then within a few months possibility for a captial raising (such is the nature of commodity markets)...I don't think they will go for it as on all three counts there may not be the high confidence or score needed and my guess will be that some major shareholders will be saying to wait for year end results to make any dividend considerations and keep the capital buffers up during uncertain times. i expect comments: "considerable uncertainty remains", "board is mindful of shareholders desires", etc
