    Met coal is used in steel production. Thermal coal is what WHC produces more of. You can burn met coal for power but cannot use thermal coal for steel, thereby arresting the price plunge of met coal...worse come to worse people burn met coal in power plants. In any case, the reflation of the economy will outstrip any decline in steel production by a large margin. Not every product has steel in it but everyone uses power everyday.

    Chairman Mao said something to the tune: "It doesn't matter if it is black coal or brown coal, as long as it burns good it is good coal". You can be sure the Chinese will heed his words.
