Very pleasing to see the Hunter Valley/Gunnedah Basin 'money trains' rolling for WHC on Sunday evening, 3 October 2021.
At about 1900 AEDT tonight, an empty coal train arrived at the WHC Maules Creek mine to load.
A loaded train was just south of the major railway junction of Werris Creek.
Another load was passing through Scone, having originated at Narrabri.
A little north of Muswellbrook, an empty coal train was heading towards the Gunnedah area.
To cap it off, just north of Singleton was another empty train, which overnight should be filled with the black gold.
I used to call Pepsi or Coke 'black gold' as I enjoy one of these, but it's better employed to describe coal. Good times in the strangest of circumstances.
